Z22SE EGR Cheater made by our very own Vocky
If your EGR valve is faulty, this can cause running problems with you car. This can be in the form of a lumpy idle, EML or random cut outs. A new EGR valve from Vauxhall is £85+
The EGR valve can be removed from the Z22SE, but will give an EML as the ECU expects it to be connected.
This is what the EGR Cheater does. It replicates the EGR valve, preventing the EML from showing a fault.
You will also need to purchase a blanking plate to work in conjunction with this, that blocks the hole left where the EGR valve used to be.
The EGR Cheater is a plug in version, ready to install. You can also trim the connectors and directly solder the EGR Cheater to the wires.
