Seat warmer button for traction control.

I have a vectra b with the 2.2 engine and i want to be able to turn the tc off. I still dont want to open up the dash. Could i use the button for the broken driver side seat warmer as a tc button. It should just be a switch around of wires down in the footwell, shouldn't it?

the tc switch is a "NO" push to make and connects to ground when pushed so no the heated seat switch wont do as that's a completely different type

I probably have a proper TC switch for the Vec B.. want me to have a look in the box of bits?

Looks like the TC switch is the only one I don't have... I really thought I had a full set of switches.. sorry fella, can't help at this time..

Hi mate.. I found another box of switches... I do have a couple of TC ones but they are the ones that don't have the dimples across the top.. if you want it, message me your address and I'll see what I can do.

Will this switch work on a 01 2.2 150 sri ?? Is there a how to guide to wiring it in thankyou

It will work on a 2001 sri150, I fitted it to mine and used the guide on vvoc.com

But that was many, many years ago and I have no idea if it's still on there.
