1. Profanity
Light swearing is allowed in the thread content, but it is not permitted in ANY thread titles. However, excessive or vulgar profanities, or profanity that is directed at other members will not be tolerated. We have a swear filter enabled on the forum which is designed to catch any words which are considered not suitable for use on the forum, and will mask it. Any remarks which could be construed as Racist, Homophobic etc are to be avoided. Any attempts to bypass the swear filter by creative use of special characters is not permitted, and may result in the thread and or post being removed/edited and a warning being issued to the offender. Too many warnings will result in a ban from the site.

2. Explicit Material
Posting or linking to sexually explicit remarks or material is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. This is a banning offence and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

3. Harassment
Harassing, flamming or threatening other users WILL NOT be tolerated. Please remember that it is a real person behind the username. Moderators / Administrators reserve the right to remove/edit any post(s) which they deem inappropriate. Persistant offenders will be warned, and suject to further action if they persist.

4. Spam
Do not post off topic nonsense with the intention of raising your post count. Please respect other members at all times, and do not post with the intention of causing trouble. Please keep your comments consistent with the subject and purpose of the conversation thread. Deliberate disruption -- such as consistent off-topic and/or frivolous commentary -- will not be tolerated such posts will be deleted or redirected to our general chat area. Members have the ability to notify a Moderator if they feel the above criteria is not met in their post. Instructions can be found here.

6. Once an item has been sold, or the item in question is no longer available, please post in the thread to let people know.
When sending money try and use a service such as PayPal or Nochex etc and make sure you get the other person's full details - Their real name, real address and their real phone number. If you're unsure as to their validity, telephone them. It is important that you confirm the sellers validity BEFORE sending any money, do not become a victim of FRAUD!
7. Adverts / threads not adhering to the guidelines will be removed. Participants, buyers or sellers, who cause trouble to other users of the forum, either deliberately or inadvertently, will be warned/banned.
8. DO NOT create a thread just to see what sort of offers you will get if your were to sell. To assertain interest in an item, please use the General Chat section. If it's NOT for Sale then DONT create an Advert.
9. Please INCLUDE a base PRICE, even if you're unsure of the value at least give some sort of indication. e.g. Price in the region of £150. If you get no interest then try lowering the price a bit.
10. You can Bump (Back to the #Top) your own Thread / Advert after 24 hours have passed from the creation of the Thread. Anyone not adhearing to this will be warned and the thread deleted.
11. DO NOT reply with Good luck with the sale, Nice car, wish I had £5000 to buy it with, That looks mint or similar - If you're NOT interested in purchasing then DON'T reply.
12. When creating your advert please try to follow the TEMPLATE set out below, this helps to ensure that the best information is available to any potential buyers. Any adverts which contain hardly any info will be deleted as they just waste time. If you want to sell something then at least make an effort!!
    We will remove any posts that do not follow these guidelines without giving any notice. We don't have enough time to advise people every time we do something.

6. Hacking
Any attempt to hack the forum or access any features that you are not normally allowed, will results in an immediate ban. If you become aware of any problems with the forum, please report them immediately to an Administrator. A lot of time and effort goes into running a forum, so please respect this.

Forum Conduct

1. Private Messaging
Please note the use of the Private Messaging service is restricted to registered members only. Please do not post the contents of a PM into a public section of the forum without the permission of the other member. The contents of ALL messages are stored in the database, and if required, Admin do have the ability to check the contents. This will be done with strict confidentiality, and only if we have had an issue reported to us by a member which requires our investigation.

2. Thread Content
Please be courtious to other members, by posting in a "Normal Writing", where some attention has been paid to Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar. This will help other members to understand any question(s) which have been asked, and help You get the response you require. Similarly users should not SHOUT (Typing their posts in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS) or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts.

3. Images
When posting photographs / images of vehicles, wherever from, please make sure you blank out their Registration Plate. You can do this by using a multitude of image editing software. If you are technically not capable of doing so, please contact Matt, who will be able to help you do this. Larger images will be automatically scaled down on the site, to maintain the layout of the site, but the file size will not be reduced.
All members have the ability to use our Upload Picture facility, which will automatically generate a thumbnail of the image(s) to the optimum size for viewing on the forum. The image(s) will be stored on our server, and give you the option to place the uploaded image into the post as an attachment. If a thumbnail has been generated, it will become clickable to show the full size image in a new window. The maximum file size which can be uploaded before is 5MB. Because the images are saved as unique attachments in the individual post, there is no option to post these images elsewhere in the forum, you will have to upload the image again in any further posts. 4. Signatures
A signature may contain one or more images, and or text. The maximum amount of characters allowed is 800. This includes any URLs for images, and text, links or forum code [url] [img] etc. There is no specific maximum image size, but please use your common sense, and don't have something massive. Any images which are deemed to big by the Moderators/Administrators will be removed, and the member notified of the reason. Please do not pad out your signatures with blank lines. You can also specifiy if you want to show your signature or not. This is configurable in the User Control Panel section.

5. Avatars
Avatars are viewable by everyone, so any user Avatar must be free from any lewd or profanic material. The maximum size permitted for Avatars is a 120x120 pixel frame with a file size of no more than 40kb. Lightly animated GIF files are allowed, but static JPG files are preferred. Under no circumstances must any material displayed contain profane, lewd or adult content. Any avatars found or reported breaking these rules will be removed without notification.

6. Administrators/Moderators
Please be aware, that the Moderators are here to make your time on the forum much more enjayable, by making sure everything is kept in order. The Moderating team has been hand selected by the Administrators for their knowledge of the Z22SE engine, and also their commitment to the site. Please respect their decisions, as they are made for the benefit of you and the site. If however, you disagree with a decision which has been made by a Moderator, please feel free to raise this with one of the Administrators.
